All patients who are Covid 19 positive must complete the CDC recommended 5-day isolation period before being scheduled to come into the office for lab or office services and wear a mask in the office if they have recently had Covid or are suffering from other respiratory symptoms. Masking is voluntary currently, however highly recommended for those vulnerable to respiratory illness, and those in high-risk populations such as immunosuppressed and dialysis patients.

About Us

Who We Are

Nephrology Associates of Syracuse, PC began as a two-physician practice in 1978 and has continued to grow and develop ever since. Our practice has five physicians, five nurse practitioners, and two physician assistants. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work closely and collaboratively to care for the ongoing needs of our patients and provide the highest level of quality care.

Our physicians provide consultative services, and have admitting privileges at Crouse Hospital and at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and work together with the local dialysis centers to manage the changing health care needs of our patients.

Our practice operates an in-house lab that is open from 7:20 am – 4:00 pm to provide convenient and efficient laboratory services for our patients. Our physicians see patients in our main office located at 1304 Buckley Road, Suite 200, Syracuse, NY 13212. We also provide monthly nephrology physician care at satellite offices located in Camillus, Fayetteville, Fulton and Vernon. Our physicians are available at both Crouse Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital each week, and also rotate along with our nurse practitioners to care for our dialysis patients at the local dialysis centers located in Central New York.

Our Mission

Our Vision

With an eye towards the future, we will anticipate and address the needs of patients suffering from renal disease as a worthy and necessary challenge. Our efforts to increase awareness and early detection will naturally continue as well. Our unwavering dedication to patient well-being keeps our practice in the forefront, consistently setting a standard of excellence in the field of nephrology.

“Patient education is a key part of managing kidney disease. We encourage all of our patients to read about their conditions and ask us questions about options for managing their nephrology issues.”
